Description

The construction industry is one of the most exciting but at the same time, most risky industries. Individuals carrying out building works are exposed daily to hazardous and harmful situations. This creates a great potential for the occurrence of very serious accidents resulting in death or disability. Construction work to be performed must be well planned and all things well thought out. The work shall be performed by persons who possess the appropriate skills to carry out the work in a safe and risk-free way. The training aims to acquaint participants with the Swedish Work Environment Act, regulations and rules that apply when performing construction work in Sweden. We will also affect the employer’s and employee’s responsibility for health and safety.

  • During a 1-day training, participants will receive important and interesting information about the rules, laws and standards that apply to work-related safety. You will learn selected parts of the Work Environment Act and regulations, identification of risks and preventive safety work.
  • The main objective of the training is to pay attention to safety and raise awareness of the present industry risks. We talk about how we must protect people’s health and life in the industry – both their own and others’. Good working environment and a corporate culture that promotes occupational safety and security in their daily work is the best investment of every a construction company. The program blends theory with practical exercises and consists of three parts and ends with a knowledge test.

Eligibility/Certificates

After completing the program and completed thesis participant will receive a training certificate.
