Description
Hot work is any work that involves burning, welding, using fire- or spark-producing tools, or that produces a source of ignition. In order to perform Hot Work you must obtain your permission and also be knowledgeable about the major fire hazards Hot Work entails. The person conducting the Hot Work must always have a valid certificate for Hot Work. The Hot Work Supervisor, who is responsible for the safe operations of hot work activity under their supervision, must also have a valid certificate for Hot Work.

Certificate
Hot Work certificate is issued by the Swedish Fire Protection Association and is valid for five years in Sweden, Finland, Norway and Denmark.
