Description
A scaffold is a temporary structure used in construction works, maintenance, reparation or demolition of buildings and other structures. Formerly, scaffoldings were built of bars or rods of wood. Today’s modern scaffoldings are available in various designs and construction and may differ between countries, even in Europe. In Sweden, there are specific requirements of the OSH Act for scaffolding. All persons involved in the assembly, dismantling or modification of scaffolding structures in order to work with scaffoldings.
The course follows AFS 2004:4 demands on general course (The Swedish Work Environment Authority’s regulations).We offer two different courses, depending on your needs – up to 9 meters (general scaffold training) and over 9 meters (special scaffold training).
Program
Up to 9 meters
- One-day course under the guidance of a qualified instructor in your language
- Homework (material delivered about one week before the course starts)
- Training compendium in your language
Over 9 meters
- Four-day course (80 h including preparation at home) under the guidance of a qualified instructor in your language
- Homework (material delivered about one week before the course starts)
- Training compendium in your language
Eligibility/Certificates
After completing the training and passed a theory test, participant will receive a training certificate.
